2. General information on data processing
This website presents the video services of Felixvisual. We process personal data of visitors only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and to answer enquiries. Personal data is processed only on a legal basis under Art. 6 GDPR, in particular to take steps prior to entering into a contract or to perform a contract (point (b)) or on the basis of our legitimate interests (point (f)).
3. Hosting and server log files (STRATO)
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (“STRATO”). STRATO processes data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores technically necessary information in server log files, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, the referrer URL, and your browser type and operating system.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our website). The servers are operated in data centres in Germany. Further information can be found in STRATO’s privacy policy: strato.de/datenschutz.
4. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools. Fonts, images and videos are hosted on our own web server; no content is loaded from third-party servers such as Google Fonts or video platforms. The videos are loaded only when you press play. Because we use no cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, no cookie banner is required.
5. Contacting us by email
Buttons labelled “Contact” or “Get in touch” open your email program via a mailto link. No data is transmitted to us by the website itself. If you write to us, we process the data you send us (e.g. your name, email address and the content of your message) in order to answer your enquiry and to prepare an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Our mailbox is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany, which processes the emails on our behalf. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Storage period
Server log files are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period in accordance with its own retention periods. Emails are stored for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry; statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law) remain unaffected.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16), to have data erased (Art. 17), to restrict processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, please contact us at contact@felixvisual.com.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy if our website or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available on this page.
